[Starter & Growth] Migrating your Data to Juicebox
Last updated: March 3, 2025
Juicebox supports data migration from most major recruitment CRMs. As a Starter / Growth plan customer, you have access to self-serve data migration.
If you're a Business plan, please see 📄 [Business Plan] Migrating your Data to Juicebox
The self-serve migration process allows you to import large-scale contact data to avoid reaching out to profiles you already recently contacted.
Process
Export Contact Data
Export your contacts directly from your current CRM as a CSV file, usually labeled "Export all Contacts" or similar.
Important: Ensure your export includes each profile’s LinkedIn or GitHub URL. Juicebox uses this URL to identify and match profiles.
If exporting directly isn't possible, contact your CRM provider for assistance.
Reformatting you Data
Juicebox accepts CSV format only.
Your CSV must have one column containing LinkedIn URLs (plus an optional header row).
Limit uploads to 500 profiles per CSV. You may perform multiple imports if necessary.
If you plan to import more than 10,000 profiles, please email support: support@juicebox.work
Create a New Juicebox Project
Next, create a new project on Juicebox, e.g. "Past Contacts". This project will store all contacts you've had previous interactions with.
Import to Juicebox
Open the Shortlist tab in your project. Then, select the "import" option to upload a CSV of your contacts. More details on bulk-imports here.
Note that some contacts may not be resolved in Juicebox. You may need to exclude them from your export.
Testing
After importing your profiles from Juicebox, you can test adding them to a sequence from a different project. You should see a warning saying "This profile is shortlisted in another project".
Additionally, you'll be able to see their shortlist status in the "Activities" field of the profile.
