Why does an email bounce?
Emails can bounce for a variety of reasons. Most commonly, these include:
Invalid Email Address: If the email address you are reaching out to is invalid, it will result in a bounce.
Domain Health: if you domain has a low reputation, it may be blocked by the receiving mail server.
Recipient Mailbox Settings: Some organizations have strict anti-spam configurations, making deliverability difficult.
DNS Record Configuration: Your email DNS records will need to be configured correctly. Note that this takes place outside of Juicebox.
Please note that “errors” in Juicebox are distinct from bounces. An error typically occurs when email permissions were not granted successfuly.
Depending on the domain health, spam blocks can also bounce emails.
For verified emails, indicated by a purple check mark, Juicebox provides a 90% deliverability guarantee.
